Scandinavia's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 (Original Title: Top Model: Paris) was the second Cycle of the Scandinavian reality television show, based on the original concept from America's Next Top Model. It was broadcast on TV3 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden by Viasat.
The concept followed the exact format as the first Cycle where each country started an internal competition with nine girls and a national top model eliminating one after other together with her own panel of judges until three girls were left in each country.
At that point the pre-selection was over and the last nine girls competed together and against each other. Although each of the participating countries did the same photo shoots and visited the same locations the girls were never supposed to meet each other before the merge.
As every country had a reserved spot in the shows final top 3, the competition remained between the national finalists until only one Danish, Swedish and Norwegian girl was left when a special jury, led by US-American fashion expert Cynthia Garrett, determined who the winner would be.
Just like in the first installment of the show it was a girl from Norway that triumphed over the two other finalists. This time it was then-17 year old Frøydis Elvenes from Narvik. The two runner-ups were Arwen Bergröm (Sweden) and Anna Nørgaard (Denmark), both 18 years old by that time.
As a different to the first Cycle the three countries did not air their shows simultaneously: While Denmark already started airing their first episode (including the first photoshoot and elimination) on September 6, the show premiered in Sweden on September 15 with a casting episode. Therefore, the Danish and Norwegian audiences knew about the outcome of the show much earlier then their Swedish neighbours.
The entire Cycle was filmed in France, where the contestants mostly attended photoshoots and casting in Paris but also had photo shoots on prominent places such as St. Tropez or Versailles.

Denmark's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 was the second Danish pre-cycle of Scandinavia's Next Top Model shown on TV 3, where nine girls competed for one of three spots to represent their country on SNTM where they were joined by three other girls from each Norway and Sweden. The Show was again hosted by Anne P, who was also the main judge until the three countries merged when Cynthia Garrett took over.
Just like in Cycle 1, Denmark was the first country to air its first episode on September 5, 2005 and once again, a Danish girl was the first to leave the competition after the three countries merged (this time: Louise Falkenblad).

Sweden's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 was the second Swedish pre-cycle of Scandinavia's Next Top Model shown on TV 3, where nine girls competed for one of three spots to represent their country on SNTM where they were joined by three other girls from each Norway and Denmark. The Show was again hosted by Mini Anden, who was also the main judge until the three countries merged when Cynthia Garrett took over.
Throughout the competition, the competition got heated when several contestants were involved in arguments which resulted in a total social isolation of Mikaela Kallgren and Maria Lindgren from the rest of the group.[1]
